SPECIAL ALERT to ALL Republican
Elected Officials in Florida!
Be Seen With Planned Parenthood and You Lose!
MIAMI, FL - On Tuesday, August 14th, State Rep. Jose Felix Diaz defeated Ana Rivas Logan in the Republican Primary Election for Florida State House District 116. Although both candidates are pro-Life and pro-Family, the Christian Family Coalition (CFC), Florida's premier human rights and social justice advocacy organization, endorsed State Rep. Jose Felix Diaz won election.
Much to everyone's regret, in July 2011, State Rep. Ana Rivas-Logan took part in a Planned Parenthood of South Florida propaganda stunt touting "free cervical cancer screenings."
How ironic is this? Planned Parenthood operates the nation's largest network of abortuaries and are directly responsible for the deaths of over 300,000 unborn babies annually. That represents 20% of all aborted baby deaths in the U.S. every year! The irony is that, according to David C. Reardon, Ph.D. of the prestigious Elliot Institute in Springfield, Illinois, women with just one abortion face a 2.3 relative risk of cervical cancer, compared to non-aborting women, and women with two or more abortions face a 4.92 relative risk. These increased cancer rates for women that abort are linked to the unnatural disruption of the hormonal changes which accompany pregnancy and untreated cervical damage.
So let's see, the same group that, with callous disregard for women's health, is responsible for increasing the risk of cervical cancer in women, through the abortions they perform, now pretends to "care" for women, by offering "free cervical cancer screenings" in Miami.
Being seen with an anti-women's rights, extremist hate group like Planned Parenthood, at the center of so much controversy for so many years, is unwise and imprudent. Ana Rivas-Logan disappointed many constituents by letting herself be used by this discredited group. She felt her constituents' disappointment on Election Day.
