MIAMI, FL - This Saturday, February 23rd, the Christian Family Coalition (CFC), Florida’s premiere human rights and social justice advocacy organization, hosted its 2013 Tally-Ho to Tallahassee Breakfast to officially launch its 5th annual CFC Day at the Capitol Campaign! Democratic State Representative Daphne Campbell, addressed hundreds of grassroots activists gathered for this annual event. Representative Campbell encouraged, not only participants, but also members of the clergy, to join CFC this year at the state capitol. The several hundred in attendance also heard from former State Representative and current Miami-Dade County Commissioner Esteban Bovo and City of Hialeah Vice-Chairman, Luis Gonzalez.

The Corona Law Firm, chair of this year's event, as well as Breakfast Host Committee members and Table Sponsors were thanked. This is CFC's fifth year mobilizing citizen lobbyists from across the state to meet in Tallahassee with their senators and representatives. During the event, CFC announced the hiring of Nathaniel Wilcox to serve as a full-time lobbyist for the 2013 legislative session in Tallahassee.

“This 2013 Tally-Ho to Tallahassee Breakfast was a huge success in several ways. First, it energized CFC's many grassroots activists to prepare for the upcoming Day at the Capitol and, second, it helped CFC raise the funds necessary for next month's lobbying efforts," states CFC Founder and Executive Director Anthony Verdugo.
