CFCF Hosts Powerful Event...

Christian Family Coalition Florida Welcomes Back Legislators from Tallahassee

MIAMI | On Saturday, June 7th, the Christian Family Coalition Florida (CFCF) hosted its largest-ever Welcome Back from Tallahassee luncheon with nearly one-hundred (100) power brokers, community leaders and grassroots activists, at the home of prominent businessman Armando Bravo.

Speakers included The Honorable Florida State Senator Anitere Flores, Florida State Representative Daphne Campbell and Chair of the Miami-Dade Delegation, The Honorable State Representative Eduardo "Eddy" Gonzalez.

The occasion celebrated our hard-fought historic victories in Tallahassee during the 2014 session. CFCF succeeded on ALL its legislative priorities such as passage of SB 386, Application of Foreign Law in Courts, this bill protects Floridians from foreign law that is inconsistent with American values, such as Islamic sharia law.

CS/HB 59, Offenses Against the Unborn, the bill states that a person who engages in conduct that violates Florida Criminal Code or criminal offense defined by another statute & causes death of, or bodily injury to unborn child commits a separate offense, specifies that certain types of knowledge or intent are not necessary for such offense."

"You killed my bill"

Those are the words of State Representative Joe Saunders to CFCF lobbyists in Tallahassee! Saunders sponsored the deceptively-titled, Florida Competitive Workforce Act which violates right to privacy and endangers public safety in Florida which by forcing ALL women's bathrooms, locker rooms, and showers to be open to men, who self-identify as women. Furthermore, it would, for the first-time ever, legalize discrimination by forcing ALL businesses and individuals to violate their conscience (religious or otherwise). For example, a Christian-owned and operated businesses such as a bakery to make a wedding cake for two men or two women such as the case with Masterpiece Bakery in Colorado, where the owner has been found guilty of "discrimination".

"We thank God for these tremendous victories. Our gratitude to Armando Bravo for sharing his home and Armando Pomar for the wonderful pictures.
