Kentucky County Clerk Kim Davis Released!

"I want to give God the glory; his people have rallied!"

MIAMI-Today, September 8, 2015, Kentucky County Clerk Kim Davis was released from jail. She was ordered arrested by U.S. District Judge David Bunning for refusing to issue marriage licenses to homosexual couples, citing her religious beliefs. After five days in jail, she was released on the condition that she not interfere with the deputies' work of issuing marriage licences.

CFC issued the following statement:

"What we've seen today is the grace of God acting on behalf of Kim Davis for staying true to what the Bible defines marriage to be: a union between one man and one woman. By her example we can show America that people of faith in this country will not be trampled under foot. We will demand the government follow the very document it was founded on and respect our right to behave according to our conscience."

First Amendment: "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof..."
